The CiQ20-3 automatically monitors concentration, mixes to the correct ratio, and keeps your sump topped off — so you can run unattended and focus on other things.
“Your coolant is drifting. You just can’t see it yet.”
Most shops rely on an operator to periodically check each machine’s coolant — if they remember. That single reading drives tool failures, part scrap, bacterial growth, and unplanned downtime. The cost is real. It’s just invisible.
Shops have automated nearly everything about running unattended. Coolant is the one task left that still pulls a person back to the machine.
CoolantIQ™ co-founder CJ Abraham spent years chasing true lights-out machining in his own shop. Material loading, in-process inspection, unattended operation — everything was optimized. Everything except the coolant.
Coolant is pumped continuously through the CiQ20-3, where an inline refractometer reads concentration in the flowing stream. When water or concentrate is needed, it is drawn in through a venturi in that same line — so make-up is blended into the coolant before it returns to the sump, never dumped in unmixed.
